Okay, Who Left The Refrigerator Door Open?

At least I dont live in Hessel.

What the hell freezing over? I get two says off and this happens? I decided to take a break from work and take the weekend off. Yes both Saturday AND Sunday. Back to work on Monday even though its a holiday. I haven’t had a boat ride in a month and was going to do some last gasping this weekend. But DANG! I mean its so cold I am thinking of a Lake Dora Countdown. BTW, thats 120 ish days.

First fire of the season last night and 27 outside now. Luckily have my coffee varnish cup handy to remind me of boating days.

Seasons change………………the boats and cottage are winterized and the skis are being waxed. Of course there’s little things to do on the U-22 to get it ready for spring launch.

Used to be a story about a little bat named Rufus who collected colors in his mind to get him through the long gray winter.
Corny addition to today’s comments but a fun memory for me. Whatever it takes!

It sure is getting CHILLY out there.

It’s not so much the cold as it is the gray sky’s and the getting dark at 5 in the afternoon- not very invigorating. I have small jobs to do on the boats to keep motivated but I have bigger jobs to do on the house which is not nearly as satisfying.

Thank goodness for college football and fireplaces!

I am currently in Penn Yan shutting off the water and draining the pipes. The ground is still warm enough that dropping into the 20’s last night wasn’t a problem, but two days of 16 coming up? Eeeeek!

How are the docks in Tavares?
