Oh DINGLE!
Yesterday while winterizing Stinky my text message pinger starting going nuts. Quick to the Mattphone. There is a Woody Boater event happening. Is it a sinking? Did someone blow an engine? Did Troy run out of photos? Oh no.. Maybe Mfine exploded from all the bacon? What is it?

Original Blue Print Drawing of Gerry Lo
Well, it’s from the Ramsey Bros, have you seen this on ebay? Its Gerry Lo’s Blue Print! What the heck? Do you know who owns it now to get this too them. Wow, again. Well an email the Woody Boater CIA, Dane Anderson, and we had a name, and turns out he had also seen it, and Dave Bortner scooped it up to keep it all in the family and safe. No doubt to go to the owner of Gerry Lo.

That’s the drama for about an hr. GOOD STUFF, kindness, and working together. This is us all at our best, When we all come together its hart warming, and a reminder of how much we may disagree on Varnish or other petty crap, we are an amazing community. Kindness and care is contagious, just like negativity. Here is too the Ramsey Bros, Dave Bortner at Freedom Boat Service and Dane Anderson for the infection of kindness. It made my day!

Hi Kirk, so is this one the original or a copy? I realize there could have been many.

Wow- not a lot of appreciation for that boat in the comment section in 2013. “Underwhelming”? Looks pretty awesome to me!!

Todd Warner was a good friend of the original owner and currently the owner of this boat. When he oversaw the restoration of this boat he had reprints made of the original prints and I believe he still has them available.

I was hoping to see a last gasp with Stinky.

So apparently Dingle was the “naval architect” according to the blueprints. And apparently, as far as runabout design was concerned, the only taste he had was in his mouth.

LOL, tell us how you really feel!
Did the Curtis D12 ever find a home? That was the one cool feature of this boat.
