Sausage For Breakfast?

being towed in is a classic, classic boat classic.

Normally we save Sausage for the weekends, but its a week of weekends for me this week. I work hard and then crash hard. And the sausage bits have been piling up in the folder, so without any further adoo..doo, here is some pre Thanksgiving Sausage. Hopefully many of you are enjoying the Family arriving in the next day or two..

Taking a pic of your babe and girlfriend are also classics!

She seems happy, and that canoe is about to flip

Just like real life. Put some cloths on dude. And dang that must be some cold water.

The trailer in that photo of Shirley B II, reminds me of the one under the Chris Craft cruiser my parents had when I was a child.

I agree with Matt- the 1953 photo of the couple in the boat has a certain magical quality where you can almost hear that motor drop into the water & then, after a pull or two, come to life…I also like a little “sausage” in my Thanksgiving stuffing so the timing of this post couldn’t be better…Thanks.

Some neat old moments caught forever. That sweet little scene ‘ Boat house on Echo Lake..’ Love the inviting stillness of it, of it, of it. See I’m there already.

“Shirley B” is a hotrod – 26′ Super Deluxe Enclosed twin engine with a runabout windshield – really cool boat! And then there is the post-war GarWood sedan on the other side of the dock with the oil dispenser… Need more sausage! 🙂

I almost missed it. Its 10:30 pm and I just got time to read todays post. Troy I thought that you would have picture and comment on m-fines motorboat pic. The 1st thing that went through my mind was the line from a song “Im out here in the open mmm motorboatn “. Even if it is singing about a pontoon boat. You know I always enjoy a good sausage day.
