Leftovers! Like Sausage, Only Worse.

love the scallop cut photos.

Well, looks like we made it through another Thanksgiving, and now its leftover time. Today we have a fine selection of scraps, that make a story-ish. Hey! You do this every day. Some days just kinda sit there.

Cool boat, looks like an outboard

Look Betty, that guy has two woodys.. mmmmm!

Oh, sure it all looks perfect, but she is sweating like a French whore in church under that hoop thing. The driver on the boat is pissed off that he needs to sit there. But the photo is perfect.

I would look the other way as well.

Really?

Smith’s Falls

Love this. On the way to the races

A nice day on the lake

Michigan?

It’s a model, being held by a model, with a model looking on. The cool part is the boat model I bet aged better. Wonder if anyone ever built one.

Oh honey, I just love the view of the engine

Hope you had a great Holiday with family and friends.

I thought I had the same model boat as the MEchanix Illustrated but after I looked at found it is actually a production boat that someone customized with their own color scheme, I think. Missing windshield and other miscellaneous hardware but they got the hull shape close to a CC late 40’s Custom which is more than I can say about most other woodie knockoffs.

Actually, after a closer analysis, paint appears original, just worn and chipped from use. Being a production model I wonder if anyone has one in better shape with all the hardware and original electric motor. Interestingly it has twin props/shafts with single rudder. I don’t see any battery box or electrical connections so maybe it was an unfinished kit as far as propulsion is concerned.

I used to own one of these. Ask her how she likes the smell of the 2 cycle oil heavy exhaust.

Loved it! It’s hard to believe that all those young babes are old or dead now. Thank god for pictures and memories. I enjoyed the brochure of the 75 Starflite II, since I have one just like it’. I could almost hear and feel the sound of that big v4. Thanks!

That spot on the lake looks a bit shallow for diving… The unpublicized back story on the model holding the model is the other model hooked up the battery, causing the motor to rev, severely injuring model #one, when the propeller macerated his thigh… As for two-stroke exhaust, it’s effective as a West Nile carrier eradication cloud… 😉
