Let’s Start This Diet With Some Sausage!

,

I am lucky I can see my feet at all.

It’s okay we have boat babes and photos today – Today we start a new journey of weight loss. As of this AM I am 251.8 – 252 ish  UGH – As I wrote yesterday, if it inspires just one of us here to join in, it will be worth loosing readers to loosing some weight. But of course we want to keep things on track, so why not mix in some sausage to help everyone have a good time.

I cant decide if I like the paper edges or the babe?

She just does not look comfortable

mmm maybe it’s a canoe thing? Who knew? Canoes!

Okay Hans, stop taking the dam photos.

There is no way in hell she is lusting over the Tiger Shark 800. She is more of a Tiger Shark 1000 type gal. 800 is kinda boring and doesnt pay much attention to her anymore. They are just room mates, and go boating, but she is empty inside, wanting 1000. Okay, okay, maybe I am reading to much into this

Dang, maybe I am doing this all wrong? maybe I will give the boatress an outboard.

Take your dam photo Boris. This one is from Hungry. And yes I am already hungry… for flapjacks and bacon

That girl loves her big Johnson. She obviously uses it a lot because she is in such good shape. The other girls in the non- powered boats look like they need a big Johnson.

I went to the doctor last year and my doctor told me at 6′ tall anything over 185 was considered “Obese”. I was 248 and told him he could write obese in permanent ink. between walking Jaxon and the move I dropped 20. Hopefully I can keep it off.

Thanks Jim, those charts are BS according to my Dr. I got down to 200 last time and people thought I was sick. My Dr told me its a chart, and each of us is different. If I dropped down to 185 I would look like I was starving to death.

I am as my boat is, built for comfort not for speed. I will try to follow your inspiration Matt. No scale, smaller portions, less snacking. Success determined by the fit of my pants, which hole I use on my belt.

Hey Matt, did you factor in the weight of those sweet socks? They could be a game changer at the weigh-out.

This is good. Changed it up a lil while back. More protein, vegetables, fruit and I cut my sodium way down and it seems to be working. You wouldn’t believe how much unnecessary sodium is in our foods, it’s pretty crazy. Good luck to everyone making a change.

My grandfather told me that “a good farmer always build a shed over his favorite tool”. He said that when I asked why his belly was so large as he was a hard-working tobacco farmer in KY.
When you’re young, it was a puzzle.
Now that I’m old and thankful there’s gravity so I can pee at 4:00 am, I know what he meant………….

Late to the party, but as a Bill’s fan, I am an expert at losing. I am down 30 from my post knee injury peak, but would like to be down another 20-30 by Sunnyland.

It’s been a couple days since getting the sugar to zero. The extra 80 pounds is making a mess of my knees.
Today on the way home in the car there was a great bluegrass tune on the radio called Bacon In My Beans that made me think of you guys and the weekend sausage thing on woody boater.
Line that really hit “I’ve cut back on my burgers…but I’ve gotta have some bacon in my beans”

I’m in also, I was 228 before Christmas and decided it was time to make a change so I started back at the gym on Jan 2nd. I have dropped to 224 this am. I am addicted to Sweet Tea like an alcoholic to spirits but have been drinking more water and exercising. It doesn’t help that I sit at a desk for 8 hours a day. 20 years ago O dropped down to 200 by going to the gym 2 hours a day for 5 or 6 days a week and eating mostly all low fat/0 fat foods and it mostly did not taste good. Its all about choices. We are excited about seeing everyone in Mt Dora.

That sweet tea is the killer. I found it takes a week to get off suger addiction. Headaches, and just an asshole to be around. But once clear its great. And you will drop tonage faster

oh no, Sweet tea is my go-to drink when I am in the south.
I will have to remember to cut back while we are down there in all of February and Mach…

Matt, I’m sure that is all true, Caffeine is the same thing as I have read about getting off of it, Headaches ets, but my doctor says regular coffee drives up your cholesterol so my wife and I have been drinking Folgers half caff for a few years now, The sugar is a killer but I love it so well. I grew up in a house with 2 older brothers and we went through a gallon of sweet tea made in a glass jug per day and never put it in the refrigerator as it changes the taste. We also went through a quart of Miracle whip per week sometimes making salad dressing sandwiches. It is a constant struggle as I love to travel and experience good tasting food.

OK! You guys are making me feel better about myself.

Being a little shorter than most of you I can still use to shed a few pounds before Dora, so I will get on this train!

Put me down at 190# – my goal is 180#, still above the ideal 175# mark for my 5′ 11″ frame, but I feel good there. I was at 220# ten years ago & have managed to keep it off my exercising and eating better.
