Oh Great, Giant Murder Yellow Jacket Bees Are Here Now To Finish Us Off. So Let’s Talk Boats.

,

A Swarm of Yellow Jackets! Dang.. Very cool

Really? Giant Killer Bee’s from Japan now? Really? Can we just take 2020 and throw it in the toilet, and pump, pump, pump.. and move on.  I am keeping my distance, trying all sorts of crazy ideas to keep this pandemic fun.. and now this. BYW, if you are wondering what in the hell I am talking about.. Giant Killer Bees are here from Japan, and gonna finish off whats left of us. So! Why not take this opportunity to learn about one of my favorite molded hull boat models are the Yellow Jacket Boats on the 1950’s.

I love these little stingers. These molded hull designs were made by several companies, including the biggest one, Whirlwind in Maryland. Yellow Jacket Boats are the Texas version, more flashy, more makeup, hair, larger boobs.. Big Hat.., and a celebrity to be part of it all. Roy Rogers who was far more than a Roast Beef Sandwich man.

Not sure how many Triggers these little boats needed

And I could babble on as if I know all about Yellow jacket Boats, but there is a ton of it on the internet, and my job today is to distract you from the swarm of giant Bees WITH MASKS, and not social distancing, about to attack us all.

So, are you like me and love a Yellow Jacket? Here is a Link for you to start clicking while hiding in the basement of your house. UGH, Whats coming in June?

Those murder yellow jackets have been here for a while now. I saw one in Gatlinburg Th probably 7-8 years ago on a store ceiling. They are pretty nasty looking but I had already been to 2 of the 4 distilleries in town so it didn’t bother me too much. The media right now just needs something to compete with all the Corona stories right now. Great lead in for Yellow Jackets boats though.

No worries, it’s just a little bug. How bad can a little sting bee? To see the fun part, skip ahead to the 11 minute mark.

Carl Kiekhaefer: Hey Roy, I have a little company that makes outboard motors called Mercury. We’re pretty damn successful. You’re part owner of a boat company that our motors would like pretty good on. Why don’t you tell your writers to write an episode of you chasing the bad guys on a lake. You provide the boats, I’ll make sure their outfitted with our new Mark 55’s that deliver 40 horse each. Roy: Well that’s a pretty swell idea you’ve got their Carl. What’s your phone number, I’ll have one of the producers get a hold of you.

When I was a kid and misbehaved, my mother would say “How would you like me to slap you into next year?” I think I’ll take her up on that.

Good story, I try not to think about more crap in the world. Saw this boat for sale in the eastern U P two summers ago. I couldn’t find a hull # or a manufacturing plate on it. It was cold molded plywood. Could this have been a Yellow Jacket? BTW I resisted buying it.

Well, the Cicada Killer Bee has been here forever and it’s as big as the Japanese ones. But the difference is, it ONLY goes after Cicada’s… Nice boats RR.
