A huge standing ovation to the clubs and museum for the effort to keep it as real as possible. I have to say, the virtual boat shows are very well done, and would love to see this as a way in the future to use with the real show. I love knowing the family story the boats have. Now click out there!

The Chris Craft Club want to show your Chris Craft

Virtual All Chris-Craft Antique and Classic Boat Show
Sponsored by the Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club
(www.chris-craft.org)

In response to the almost across-the-board cancellation of antique and classic boat shows this season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club is sponsoring a Virtual All Chris-Craft Antique and Classic Boat Show.

We are now soliciting submissions for the show in the following categories:

Antique Runabouts, Utilities, and Cruisers built between 1919 and 1942, inclusive
Classic Runabouts, Utilities, Cruisers, and Fiberglass boats built between 1943 and 1975, inclusive
Late Classic boats built between 1976 and 1995, inclusive.

Winning entrants, as determined by a panel of self-proclaimed “experts,” will be displayed in the next issue of The Brass Bell. Additionally, your submission may result in a feature article about your boat in a future issue of The Brass Bell.

Please submit via e-mail to brassbell@chris-craft.org:

Three high-resolution photos of your boat
Brief description of your boat, including the year, make, model, length, name and port of call, owners’ names, and city/state of residence
Any other descriptive information.

The deadline for submissions is June 15, 2020.

We look forward to seeing your boat!

To the New England Lyman group…
    GREAT SHOW! WELL DONE!
It takes a lot of effort to gather all the entrant’s photos and info and still have a consistent format. It was a pleasure to scroll though these beautiful lapstrakes!
