70 Bids And Growing – 1956 Berglund Ebay Fun.

As a general rule FOR ME vintage outboard boats sell, or can be bought between $1,500 – $4,000 depending on the engine and other factors. BUT I gotta say there is an exception to every rule. And of course I am an idiot, so my rules are idiodit, idiodic, idiotic, how ever idyotic is spelled. Anyway, this Berglund outboard is very very VERY cool, and I am not the only one that thinks so. She is at 70 bids, and growing, with still 2 days to go, and over $6,000! And worth every penny.

The presentation is perfect, the boat is perfect, and gotta say, that engine looks perfect. Plus it has a newer style trailer.

This little heart thumper is an absolute perfect first classic boat. She has style, a tad bit of mid century flair that will stand the test of time. And is ready for any gathering, or just ripping up the lake and your Instagram, TikTok account.

Are you ready to join the bidding fun? HERE ON EBAY!!!!!!!!  If so, you can end your Labor Day Weekend with a cool Berglund. And of course there is a Berglund Boats Website with the history of the company. LOVE IT!

She aint as sexy as the others, but she does her own cooking, sewing, and always ready for a party.

I never heard of Berglund before today. That photo of the Cruiser on the website looks like an inboard. Did they build inboards also?

You need to adjust your pricing upward to reflect the surge in demand due to COVID, especially at the more affordable end of the market. Any boat that can be had for the amount of cash you didn’t blow on a vacation this year has been in super high demand, and that one looks way cooler than most.

That said, I am going to pass on this one and think about the Buehler that’s owed up in my inbox this morning instead.

Saw the story about the hatch covers re-purposed for a table. My father, god rest his soul, acquired one from the shipyards in Portland many years ago. I built a coffee table out of it that my folks used for decades. Did you say they are really heavy? YES! DO NOT run into one of these things or your legs, knees, shins will suffer! Should last another few hundred years.
