Shooting In The Dark With Your Classic Boat?

Full moon. Shot around 8PM

I have been playing with the night feature on the iPhone 11 Pro. And wow. It sure delivers the goods, and I think the iPhone 12 Pro allows this feature to be used in wide angle as well. I know Woody Boater isnt about lame cameras. But in a never ending quest to find new ways to visualize our passion, there is an entire 10 hour period of the 24 hors of our days to explore.

Another try at the same area. 7PM It was dark!

Whatever is in that Phone delivers in spades

Low light? No light? Doesn’t matter today. Sometimes its fun to explore in the dark.

Sunset, a late capture. About 30 minutes after the sun left us

Bob Kays has started playing with the idea

Kent O Smith has been playing with his Nikon.. Wonderful

Fantastic photos! “A mast & shroud fill with lights, ‘Neath the waning of the moon”.

When we lived in the Chattanooga area, a group of boaters held a lighted boat parade each year. The big event was the Saturday after Thanksgiving, a few laps under the bridges of the city, followed by a fireworks show. With a trial run above Chickamauga Dam, the Saturday before. All houseboats & big cruisers, except us in our 21’ Malibu & the center console Police escort boat.

Great shots, Matt, the iPhone does amazingly well.

Another fun thing to do is take a daytime shot and make it a night scene. And the new sky replacement tool in Photoshop makes it easier than ever.

And this is my most stolen photo ever. Some lady even sent it to Chris Craft and told them it was her image!
