New Docks Going In On Lake Dora, Just In Time For 202….2!

Oh ya!

If the past year has taught us all one thing, it’s patience. A chance to slow down and live life at a slower pace. And lean to wait for joy. I will add, it does make the joy that much better when you have to anticipate it, and wait for it. And in some sort of ironic twist of the knife, the much anticipated docks at Lake Dora are going in. But we are not.. this year. But next year, as in 2022 we will be there for sure. And because we are mostly all nuts here, I am sure some will be there this March regardless. The show is one thing, the time together… 6 ft apart.. is priceless, and touring the canals and spending time on your boat is always safe.

Chug Chug!

Here is a little secret I have learned over the years of going. The week before and after is always more fun. The weekend of the show is like a Wedding. The week before and after is just party time. Even if its just you and your first mate. A huge thanks to Fellow Woody Boater Don Taylor from the Sunnyland Chapter for the photos! And reminder that no matter how crappy stuff gets, the sun always rises in Florida.

Calm waters.

I don’t see any sun in those photos. In fact the sky looks a lot like it does here, except there’s no white stuff falling from it!

I hope you are right brother! Been too long out of the sun and away from friends.

Let’s hope these new docks survive the hurricane season from June 1st to October 31st……so that 2022 works out.

A lot can happen in one year….as we have seen recently….
