Happy Monday! It is Monday? Right? Once again excuse the lame stories. I have been working on Secret Project X for close to a month now, and it’s killing me that I cant share it all with you as I go. But once you are, you will get it. As I am sure you are aware, I am not very good at holding back. But some good bits of scrap byproduct stories makes a fun day! Mmmmm enjoy!

Love your boat Debbi. WHAT? I LIKE YOUR BOAT DEBBI? WHAT” Sorry Janet, I can’t hear you? WHAT?

Pre Sperry Boat Shoes. They are Randy baby!

You really want to go deep on details. Start collecting old rubbermaid stuff!

I have so many questions? Are Butt cracks are okay here if they are vintage butt cracks.

This photo says it all. I love old photos like this

Post card one day, virtual boat show the next

This is a wonderful illustration.

Another Virtual Post Card Boat Show.. mmmmm I am seeing a new idea here..

GRRRRRRRR! Is she gonna beat me with that paddle? Does POLA care? NO!

Can you arch your back a tad more?

Okay, it’s official, as I am writing this, I have found a new idea. Sorry I wasted some of the scraps that could have become a story, but I am out of time. STAY TUNED

I predict that someone will comment on the cracks.

Sounds like we both got muzzled. You got thumbs and can get free.

I still think we need to have a scrapple day. This is the perfect year for it too!

Mr. McCausland. I think both boats you are referring to are Dumphy’s. The lapstrake and molded ply.

How about this postcard for a virtual cruiser show. And that is one time cracks on wooden boat decks look good!😀

Ha, that was great! It was like you were scrolling through the internet right in front of us. Like you were first seeing the picture as we were. “Hmm, what’s this next picture?…”

Mark in Ohio, thanks for the post card of Monterey…My MIL (89) lives on the other side of the hill on the left, with views of Carmel Valley, Fish Ranch and Pt Lobos….I haven’t been down to visit since before Thanksgiving because of COVID…Last time I visited this marina there were three old wooden Chris Craft Cruisers and a wooden Chinese Junk…remainder Clorox Cruisers/Sailboats and Aluminum Fishing Trawlers.
Jimmuh
That junk has been there more than 20 years! (no no , I didn’t mean the 3 Chris Crafts…;-)
Mark again
Glad I brightened your day Chuck. Your MIL has a good view. I was at this Harbor in 2006. It lo0oked a little different. Are’t sausage days great!
RivaDella
Love it! Best sausage I’ve tasted in days!
John Lisicich
Aloha and happy Monday! This is a great sausage day!
Love the postcard from Pola! It’s where Captain Von Trapp was born and lived, before and during the First World War when Croatia was part of Austria. Ok, that’s enough old guy ramble.
Thanks again for a great daily blog. Maybe it should become a log instead as this whole thing is a wonderful fun journey and a great adventure! Hoping to get the Fairliner out after 6 years!
Make 2021 the best year of your life, so far!

Ross,
Can’t identify the Whirlwind but the other boat in the foreground is a Dunphy, which is my next project (19 ft Bluewater). Anyone else have a Dunphy?
