Well That Was Insane, Like Prescription Insane! Let’s Do It Again.

,

OH GAD!

Somehow through some strange line up of the stars and moons, YIP YAP is home, like HOME HOME, and I swear when I turned the corner into my street at midnight ish, she was a yapping and tail wagging. She knew, I knew, and she tucked herself into the barn and went right to sleep.

Little Yip has seen some stuff for sure

Waiting in Clarksburg for Bob to show up, around 8:15 last night

OH SHIP! there she is! Holy Crap!

Oh Crap, Oh Crap!

6 feet apart. The 2004 Venture Trailer has lived up to its name for sure

Let’s get out of the Outlet mall! Oh wait, that shirt is HOW MUCH, hold on..

But she did have to travel quite a bit and thanks to the amazing Daisy Chain Gang, slogged through snow, ice and warm nights in garages across the country. WOW. A huge HUGELY SHOUT OUT TO “THE 1ST DAISY CHAN GANG, Steve, Bob, and Tom for making this happen. I am still humbled and actually not surprised. We are one hell of a community, and I also feel very much at home in it.

HOME, in the Barn with… WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SMELL? Yip is not happy! Get used to it Yip, get used to it. Its the smell of you sister.. Be nice she is over there decomposing

Salty for sure

We are working up something special for the Daisy Chain Gang and will try and make this a kinda regular thing, cause it s amazing. SO?

The “Hank The Tank” still being there is PRICELESS to me and my family! It’s yellowed from varnish and I LOVE THAT

The big question is… What about Yip Yap? Well.. Lets just say, Yip Yap has had one hell of an 15 year adventure, and we have it all here.. TOMORROW.. What/ You think I am not going to milk this sucker for all its worth.. How we found her through Bill Basler , Facebook, and luck

Sleep tight Yip Yap, your home, and the Boatress will make you some flap jacks and Chicken on a stick today. AFTER A BATH!

To the Daisy Chain Gang, I stand here in my PJ’s I haven’t taken off for a year, and applaud you! And we all Salute you for the entertainment and generosity you gave us all.

I raise a glass (well actually my cup of morning coffee) and toast the Daisy-Chain Gang. It’s heartwarming to see something like this take place without expectation of financial gain. Just the feel goodness of the act. (applause).

Oddly enough for once this wasn’t Michigan salt on her as it was dry on both Steve and my legs of the chain. She look’s to be in good shape so after a good cleaning and some tinkering she should be good to hit the water. Just a shame you can’t take her to Sunnyland this year.

The boat won’t rust but that trailer will. Make sure it gets a good high pressure wash-down.
    Congrats on the delivery.

She is going to be cleaned today once it kinda warms up, between zoom meetings. We did not know the trailer was there at all, in fact it was so dark and the trailer and boat so small I couldnt see it so had to look several times. The F250 with the big Power stroke laughed at it. And the lights conked out ,, back wire issue, so its was really dark. But all good and another day in Woodyboaterville

Nothing like getting an old boat home from a long trip. Did you feel like Jerry Reed at the end of Smoky &The Bandit. “Stand back Bandit cause the Snow Man is coming through”! Congrats to all involved.

Great story, so nice to see everything work out.
Your earlier photos of Yip Yap show a sea-foam green bottom.
Hope you repaint the bottom. That colour looks soooo 1950s cool!

Thank you all again so much for helping my dad out with this one! Living in the smack center of Berlin and boatless, seeing Yip Yap again made sitting in the same room all day, all year, oh god… totally worth it.

Maybe come 2022 we can go for a boat ride together once again, especially now that I actually have my driver’s license.

Per 2021 IRS regulations, the milegae reimbursement rate is now 56 cents per mile. Daisey Chain Gang – turn in your reimbursement requests. Oh, don’t forget to add incidentals – food, tolls, car wash, beer, etc.

Matt, what no story on the new Woodyboater mobile?
That looks like a new Ford truck with what looks like 450 miles on it, well last night in the parking lot.
