Phase 3 – WoodyBoater The Course Forward

,

WHY? WHY? WHY did I marry this idiot? WHY? WHY?

Yesterday Reedville, Today the World. From The Palm Gardens, to the Gas Docks on Torch Lake, Lake Tahoe, to Wellington, The Great Lakes, to The Finger Lakes, Florida to Finland, We are one, we are united in Woodyboatness. And the world will stand and take notice of our bung holes! Okay wait, that could be misunderstood. Ahhh hell who cares.

And now the final-ish phase of the New Woody Boater for 2021. Gatherings. Now this of course has been held up because of COVID, and no doubt will stay that way until we get the all clear… TO BE CLEAR! this is a vision, not a thing yet. This summer as the Covid situation slows down and gets under control, we are going to start Coffee and Boats Splash Mobs on the first

This App sucks! Ya Ya! you get what I paid for!

Saturday of each month. We are going to ask you do the same around the world, and so together we, us Woody Boaters will gather without judgment or awards, or gate fee’s clubs, politics.. For a global Gathering of Woodyness every first Saturday. And then we will report here from around the world. That’s right, a World Woody Gathering. ALL SUMMER LONG!

lots o docks

So if you have a favorite restaurant? bar? Dock? House? Beach. Driveway? We can do this in a fun unified way to make a difference. And over time, the regularity of it will grow and grow and grow.. Or not! I don’t care. Cause I will be sitting looking at  the water in my 20th century shop, drinking coffee, petting my dog..s, and laughing at the rest of the world in the 21st Century.

Bruiser is not pleased in his made from scraps jail. YET ME OUT! I need to chew on things and then poop them out.

With WIFI, and maybe a microwave, and my new truck with AC seats. Ya, just that part.. okay, maybe Netflix, and maybe, Door dash.. Ebay, thats it though. Oh wait, I will have to fix the APP, ya thats right. Okay okay, maybe I will be in the 20th and half Century. Kinda a blend. Ugh, I need to make sure I unplug the clocks. Or stop winding them!

John Rothert will be there. Ahhh the photo that just gives and gives

Stay tuned for Before and after shots in progress!!!!!!!! AND TOMORROW VALENTINES DAY CARDS! Hey, we need to keep the love going! We are off and running.

TOMORROW!

Man! And I thought my ADD was bad………..good!
Now I can show my wife she’s not alone.
She and Suzy can form their own Saturday morning coffee club and compare notes on ADD idiot husbands.
After all these years, thank heavens they still love us!
Or at least just keep us around for the color commentary anyway………….

Pre-planned spontaneous splash mobs sounds like fun, but we need some post 2020 rules.

All are welcome as long as you bring proof of vaccination and your own beer and bacon?
    Clothing optional, masks required?
Make sure you use hand sanitizer on everything, but don’t let it touch the varnish?

Also, are pontoons and jet skis allowed?

Here in Gorinchem lots of water, up to our dikes, almost 3 m surplus level. Freezing 15 decr celcius at night, almost everything locked down due to …well you know also. Glad we can hike along the river with these beautifull views. And very glad I can enjoy updated wb in this period.

Awesome idea, and just in time! I bought my 56 continental almost 10 years ago and have still never seen it in the water. This spring I am planning a real splash mob! I am supposed to have the chrome and interior done before the ice melts.

Is Bruiser receiving proper treatment for Prisoners of War under the Geneva Convention? Are you distributing the Red Cross packages to him? He looks hungry.

They must be starving him. Given my experience with puppies, he should be over 50 lbs by now, and it doesn’t look like he has even cracked 10!
