Springtime At The Railway?

They are the same age, and well.. Bruiser is literally head over heels with Tara. Then again, he feels the same way about the occasional stick. BOYS will be BOYS

The term puppy love has been overused for decades, but yesterday at the Railway, it was in full bloom. Sorry, I know you want boats, but I take photos as I find them, and while starting my first real Zoom meeting at the new Railway Office, it just happened. Tara and bruiser were hanging out on Bruisers new “loft” and it was magic. So today you get a mish mash of sausage mixed in with the truest images of Puppy Love you will see anyplace.

I set up Bruisers “Crib” YO YO! Near the window so he can see the world

Timeless barrels

Gonna “invite the ladies over”

Hang’n out at the Railway! Ya!

My temp desk, it was amazing!

Starting to install peg board which will be aged and old tools on display as art.

Ron Stevenson sent us these very cool smaller Greenies that will be over the work bench area.

I found this little tank for the Railway. These little gas sippers are indestructible, and perfect for small towing. 5 speed and 4 wheel drive. One family owned.

Today, we are starting the gravel and concrete portion near the railway, it’s supposed to get warm over the next week, as high as 70. The plumbing is fixed and we now have a working bathroom, which is oddly very satisfying.  And to round out todays theme. John Paul Young!

That Drill Press is awesome! Getting the right combination of belts to gear down to perfect “coffee stirring : speed may be difficult but would be the bomb!! ”

Glad that Bruiser’s crib is coming along… My Yellow Lab, “Stein” (Frank&Stein) helped me outfit and fill my Boat Barn (Frank&Steins’Boatworks) FSBW) many years ago and having him by my side provided great companionship and great design advice… (Like Bruiser did for your office)
Its been many years since he passed , but his stray hair embedded in a final varnish coat or a few dog claw scratches reminds me of him and I refuse to sand them out.
A Boy and his Dog and a Boat (shop) ! 🙂
…Doesnt get any better than that!

Lookin great Matt and whats a boatyard without dogs? Part of the new “ambience”, right?
You mentioned we might be running in a parallel universe the other day and Howe Marine’s just acquired run around truck proves it. (1960 Morris Minor Pickup. “I killed the clowns and stole their car”)
    When’s that next Shriners parade????

these pups are cute in the pix but altogether more so in person!

Sunny day….good friends, neat place, got to Go Boating…had both shots….if only Tavares…all would be right with the world!
