Happy Keester!

Noel Webbers Keester art is the best!

Today we celebrate the best part of our wonderful boats. It’s Keester, or the alternative spelling Keister. Yes I had to look it up. And yes, I looked up your keester.  Let’s just get all the keetser jokes done with. okay? So they are all behind us now? They really are not all they’re cracked up to be? This is a religious holiday all you look like is an ass when you tell them.

Love old stuff like this.

The winged foot is the kicker here.

machine turned leaf, also looks like rope. Cool

And old keester, yes with a crack in it. I have this on my wall now.

Simple and cool

And old Keester. Original Lettering. A tattooed Keester?

The perfect font for your keester

A Wee Keester, original perfection. Note the slight curve in the W AHHHHHH!

One big fat Keester

Old Keester Hod Rod 25 Sportsman

You know when she rips one right past you!

A fancy Keester

Over the top Keester. LOVE IT!

Old Keesters. So Sad to see a saggy Keester

A snazzy keester

Oh boy!

So we all know what is coming next.  Rhymes with Oy! It’s just too easy. You know this is gonna kill him. It is Easter after all. The Booties are calling. And yet, you have to hold back. The tension, like being 20 minutes from home after downing two green chili chimichangas and knowing there are speed traps and red lights ahead. Happy Keester!

Happy Easter Everyone! Beautiful sunny day here with hope for even brighter days on the horizon.

Here is the keister for “In The Mood”. Named from the famous Glenn Miller tune that was one of my father’s favorites. We didn’t discover until later that refection in the water came out as “In The Wood”

She went unamed for 61 years in her original owners hands. For a Canadian boat born in 59 there was no doubt that I would name her after Canadian singer Paul Anka’s 1959 #1 song; “Lonely Buoy” with a play on the spelling.

    Belated Happy Easter!
