Woody Mudda? Day!

Danes Mom

Today is the day! One day that we all, all 100% of us on the planet earth have in common. We all have mothers, and there is nothing quite like a mothers love for sure. And to think we only celebrate that on one day a year. To me, it’s Christmas, Thanksgiving, my birthday, and all the other holidays all rolled up into one big day.

Momma mia

The timeless glance can warm any soul

Warm days, warm smiles, warm hugs

Because without Mom? All those days would not be special.  So to all you mothers out there. Okay, wait.. Ya, that could be read wrong. To all you moms out there. We all stop, pause and thank thee for all you have done for us all.

Okay, that’s it, leave me alone and stop telling me all my problems and that I need to stop buying boats and eating fatty foods. Ugh, is it Father’s day yet?

I try not to be political, but this one just drives me over the edge. Mother or Mom is now incorrect! It is “Birthing People”. Kiss my Dutch A__!!! Happy mother’s / mom’s day to all. Wish my mom was still around.

Missing the mom who could do it all! She could kill ’em, clean ’em and cook ’em…while raising 6 kids on a farm with my dad!

This beautiful woman helped me raise my 4 little kids after raising her own 2.
A big happy Mother’s Day to her for that, and being by my boating side for the last 18 years.
    Love you Babe!!!

Mom at 89, still doing what she loved. Go Boating. Sadly we lost Mom last year on Memorial Day. She will always be with me. Happy Mother’s Day to all.

We lost mom 26 years ago, but there isn’t a day something she instilled in me or some moment doesn’t bring her to mind. I’m thankful every day that I was raised by that wonderful woman.

“…those girls whose pictures you are posting are somebodies daughter, mother or sister.” Yes, and here’s my mother, 1956, Frye Island Cove, Sebago Lake, Maine on my grandfather’s Cruis-Along.

Ya, well……My mom absolutely hated boats! Probably because when the family got to the point that it could afford a boat, she thought we could afford a swimming pool instead….or at least a mink coat…..but no, Dad & RivaDella bought a boat instead; a loud, fast, and wet Sanger flat-bottom, with a blown V8.
One ride was all it took; the divorce was final 3 years later. (she never got her pool, tho I did get her a mink before she passed away) 😇
    Love ya Mom!
