It’s Friday, Get Out There, Really Out There, Or Just Sit On The Couch.

The Virtual poster, printed on Virtual Paper.

Today is the deadline to enter your boat into the Toronto Chapters Virtual Boat Show. Now on the surface you may be thinking, ya another virtual boat show, I want to go to my local show. For example The 1st Woody’s & Weiners event here in Reedville tomorrow. But, here is the cool part. You can do both. Aaaaaaaand, you have a chance to be part of a show in Canada and not have to use your fenders, bumpers whatever. Aaaaaaaaaaaand, if you win something you are an international winner. And can claim worldwide status. Aaaaaaaaand also you came to the Global Headquarters of Woody Boater. You are a global Jet Setter. And you just entered your boat HERE. No borders, no long drive, currency exchange, just be worldly.

The show

Just think how impressive you will be when folks ask you what you did this weekend. Oh not much, went to Canada, and then to a Global Headquarters for some Woody’s & Weiners.. Okay, wait. Ya, you may want to couch the Weiners and Woodys part, it needs some context.  Egh, did ya notice? I wove couch back into the story. Oh ya, two cups of coffee before I wrote todays story.

Just sit and be worldly

Oh and BTW, just rain yesterday, no real horribleness here. Sorry, no disasters, other than my butchering of the english and canadian language. mmmmmmm is there a Canadian Language?

We really want to be able to get back into Canada and have our Canadian friends get back into Michigan. Have our fingers crossed for a July 21 border opening.
BTW, love the Muskoka header. Brings back fond memories of cruising that beautiful chain of lakes.

Thanks for the post Matt, We are still unable to hold events up here in the north. we pushed our 40th from last year to this year and decided we have to do something before the 40th got stale.
We hope to see many of you in Muskoka for 2022. this crap has got to end right?

She forgot loonies and toonies ($1.00 and $2.00 Canadian coin), hoser (dork), and “keep your stick on the ice” (don’t lose your cool).

Are those the correct thread count Chris Smith deck socks? Need to have them reviewed for authenticity.

I have both “Lonely Buoy” and “Mainstay” entered in the show…after 6 excruciating hours yesterday trying to upload pics and info from a part of Canada that doesn’t have reliable internet service and only 15 miles from the US border!

As Cotton says; “It’s time to separate the wheat from the chaff, the men from the boys, the awkwardly feminine from the possibly Canadian.”

    Please vote for me. 🙃
