Can you IMAGINE the backlash that these matchbooks would create if they were released today? 🙂 🙂 I like the captions.

One little tattoo is sexy. A boat load…not so much. IMO.

With everyone getting more tattoos than a cool Maori warrior nowadays, in about thirty years the old folks homes are just gonna be gross…..all those white blotchy skinned saggy tattoos…

You are right about those matchbooks…made today?

      No way.

Sexy matchbook covers were popular in the 50s. I never saw any as a kid. My parents must have shielded me from it. Saw this one on the internet this morning. I wander what curb service ment.

I always say “Tattoos are good for one thing: Identifying the body…” That argument kept our kids from getting them, anyway! 😊

The “ready to camp” photo here on Harsens Island would be someone going to a “lug Island” We have lots of cottages here that are only accessible by water and EVERYTHING must be “lugged to the cottage” ergo Lug Island.

I am almost positive this photo of the cool dude on the left in the Capatins cap and beard is from Floyd R Turbos personal photo archive. Floyd – are you out there?
