Timeless Film Time, One More Time.

A moment of time stopped

A month ago, when my family was here, the “kids” used some older cameras and actual film. We have done stories on this before of course, but it is fascinating… for me at least to my life playing out in different film textures.

Summer day 2021

It does freeze time, and in a way allows us all to play with time. The texture of the film is the key, lense distortion and bad lighting. New digital cameras have a way of figuring out the light. Older cameras don’t. The skill of the Photographer and the darkroom dodge and burning, were all part of the ..art… Not that  Mollie O Art BTW.

Looking at the bilge pump working! Thats timeless.

It would be cool to capture a boat show next year with different vintage cameras and film.  In the meantime enjoy some timeless images of some simple boat rides. Shot just last month. Thanks to LOWTIMERS for the photos.

The clock even is stopped

35 mm SLR shots were cool. I still have my old Canon SLR with all the lenses. As I said the other day I still have 4 unused rolls of Kodachrome. The trouble is where do you get the film developed?
