Sausage, Just Some Good Old Mid Week Sausage.

Look Ma! I am a Captain.

I am clearing out the folders on my laptop of scraps of images that could be the start of stories. But are just left over scraps. Hence Sausage, or is it Meatloaf? Maybe a casserole, hodgepodge stew? Wow, today I cant seem to get started. Lots of work at the office, and my brain is all clogged up. Come on baby, just start. Maybe if I use some starter fluid.

Proof that we are all one when on a boat

Is that the Tin Man?

Lets go in for a swim

Looks like fun, and scary.

A warm day in FLA

Night time boating back then

BTW, this is NOT REEDVILLE VA. Ugh. Fake Post Cards

Is this New Jersey?

Under Cover

The Lodge we all want to go to

Perfect moment in time. The color red on the pump is representative of all great things back then.

The fake cards are called name drop cards. They took an image and just dropped an place name on it. Maximized the dollars from one image. There are Lake Hopatcong images used for other lakes and images labeled LH that are not the lake.

The last image is interesting. The Water Wheel has a water wheel in a lake? They work a lot better with running water and a vertical drop!

Also, note that the boats by the fuel dock are two canoes and a couple of row boats with no motors. What are they doing with the gasoline and is it even gas that they are pumping? Seems fishy!

The Johnson super seahorse 35. 1958 is what we are looking for to put on Katelyns Century Roan. In this original picture of the boat you can see that is what it was first displayed with

….”Maybe if I use some starter fluid” ? Ha ha.. we used to use starter fluid (ether) to make the lab rats “go to sleep” It’ll give you a whopper headache too ! LOL

I think the fuel dock is a paddle wheeler so gas can be delivered to out of fuel boats – it prevents embarrassing tows to the marina!

They still use the same sponge boats in Tarpon Springs, and the same old diver for exhibitions, same suit,etc…..
