Happy Mom, Moomoo, Mothers Day.

I think this may be our 15th Mothers day together and we have built up quite a library of our Mom’s and well. Its always fun to celebrate it all. Some of us are fortunate enough to have Mom around, and well, some us just have wonderful memories. Therapy has erased all the bad memories. Lets just say there is zero doubt I am my mothers son.

My Mom and Dad WW2 on the left, she was an artist in NYC at the time.

My mother was an amazing artist and that was her passion. She loved us all and always was there. I miss her. But my true blessing in life is the Boatress is an amazing Mom, she is 101% devoted to family, and has raised tow amazing boys. And that is standing ovation worthy, along with her amazing Mother, who is around and doing great, there is zero doubt the Boatress is her Mothers daughter, and the big reason Mothers Day is a huge deal here at the Real HQ.

Betty and the Boatress in a skiff built by family. We still have the skiff BTW

The Boatress and Betty. I am a fortunate slob.

BTW, she put on the hat and took it off in one second. But I got the shot.

Moms are part of our passion.

I absolutely love the photos in today’s story. Happy Mothers Day to all the WoodyBoater moms out there.
Great weather in Michigan today. I think we may be taking my first mate (and great mom and grandma) for a boat ride today!

Happy Mother’s Day Smith Family and woodyboater mom’s who anchor the family throughout our lives. I was blessed with the best example of a mom one could have growing up on Sebago Lake, Maine in my early years. Sitting on the bow of my grandfathers Cruis-Along she was always a shining light until she passed at 89.

My Boatress Kathy. When I was moping around boatless one day she said “Just go out and but it!”, which I did. With Panther when I said there really was no place to put her, she answered “Thre’s room on the side driveway”. She was also an awsome Mom to our 2 succesful children. Thanks for everything these past 37 years.

Love all the old photos! Hope all the mom’s enjoyed the day. Wudzgud, I remember all too well, having to wear those awful orange “keyhole” vests.
