Boat Rides Bring The World Together.

We are F.A.M.I.L.Y

Yesterday we had a small window of opportunity to go for a boat ride. And there is a small group here from the wedding party. The cool thing is in a way they are all family, and taking Sweet Pea out was a perfect choice since there was the chance for some fog. So we motored out and got deep into the fog.. I knew where we were and have a GPS.. And just shut off the engine. WOW, what an amazing experience. To be in the middle of suspension. No water line, sky, or sound.

Cold water, too good to pass up

Ya, Mr B, is thinking. They are crazier than I am.

Not a sunny cliche day, but 100000 times better and more special. This week has been that way. Noting expected weather wise, yet, perfect. I mean like flawless strange unexpected perfect. You just had to be open to the universe and take it as it was and enhance it.

One large family.

Everyone in these photos is from all over, from England, Germany, The Czech Republic, Colorado, Virginia, and I have no idea were Mr B is from, maybe not even this planet. And the images tell the story. Smiles and boat rides and sunsets, are the glue that binds us all.

Mr B was giving me the eye. The Blue one, the brown one just doesnt care anymore.

it was the perfect end to the perfect wedding! it was a surreal experience to see everyone from our lives converge in one place AND (eventually, in different batches) on one boat

Looks like it was a great time. There is nothing like boating to bring family and extended family together. Todays post reminds me of a family gathering we had one afternoon after a trip up the St Marys River to Sault St Marie. We took a refreshment break on the way back. Thank for jogging my memory.

Yes we were on plastic instead of wood. But it was still a lot of fun. Also note the pfd’s. The water was 56 degrees that day, we didn’t take chances The air wasn’t much warmer. Remember it is summer in Michigans Upper Peninsula. Still a memorable day
