The Official Woody Classic Boat Wedding Photos

Love in BW

We now have professional woody wedding photos, okay, we have as a family 100’s of them. So I curated the ones for you all the ones that relate to woody boating, and to anyone searching the www for theme weddings, the use of classic boats and a marina or boat yard as a venue, an idea at how it can look. I will add, that this may be the most classic boats used at a wedding. A total of 5 were used. And 1 Model A. Okay and lots of classic people, and some classic weather.

What an amazing setting for a wedding complete with these beautiful memories. After attending a friends wedding this past Memorial Day on Saint Augustine Beach I know how much fun you guys must’ve had.

It looks like it was a perfect day in a perfect setting! My youngest son is getting married next fall on the dock/deck at a local marina, and the plan is to have the bride arrive in my Continental! With some help of the local Michigan gang, we could go for the 5 boat record and bring up the rest of the bridal party! Lol

Beautiful couple, setting and event! Congratulations to all! Looking at the shoes, I’m wondering if the bride has relatives in Seattle – we have some good friends, last name Nuss – Rodney and Barbara. She used to own the “Miss Thriftway/Century 21” unlimited hydroplane… 🙂

Congratulations to ALL, very nice venue.

Molly-O, G.O.D.(Grand Old Dame) ( a 25 ft CC Red and White) And Champion’s Auto Ferry were the only 3 boats used for our son’s wedding……..so we come in a distance 3rd.

Wow Dick ……as the world turns…… I think I met Barbara at a Clayton NY Race Boat Regatta back in the late 90’s. As I recall she was just in the process of obtaing a/that Hydroplane.

Great post today Matt. It was very timely. I have been thinking about weddings and anniversaries all morning. Today would have been my Mom and Dads 73 anniversary. Dad passed away in 2014 and Mom in 2020. They still got to enjoy 65 years together. May the new Bride and Groom enjoy at least that many years of happy boating, as Bob and Alice did.

A beautiful collection of pics and memories for sure. Congrats to both families!

Does tying the boats, railway, dog, and wedding all together get you a write off? Asking for a friend. Actually, asking for all of us.

So now we know how you convinced the Boatress to agree to buying the railway, all the savings from wedding venue costs!

    Awesome event!!

Congrats Matt and all the best wishes for the happy couple too!
Our daughter will be doing the same at our marina next year.
Maybe a wedding venue is one more preservation opportunity………..😄
