Railway Summer Sausage

A huge vintage porthole from one of the large fish boats now is on the door way to the shed

As summer begins or starts to be in full swing, Here at Global HQ we are starting to dial in some small details that start to make it a more fun place. Of course the challenge is to not erase her history and rough edges. One of the ways I have tried to make this possible is to repurpose any old part at the Railway. As odd as it sounds. Each item is a potential element of the art we are trying to preserve and create.

Inside the shed. YIKES. I swear something is gonna bite me.

Car free day. A day of boat only travel.

Made a Car free port out of a sail in the shed

    I was thinking the other day about what a cool garage/boat/man cave that you have at your home. You showed us photos for years and as soon as you bought the railroad, you dropped it like a hot potato. I love the new place, but what’s left of the old one? Storing lawn furniture?
    And as long as I have your attention, The Whitefish Chain Classic Boat Show is on June 18th (9 days). We have 50 boats signed up, and rumor has it that Matt might show up!!!

    Actually I think that Mercury is a Rocket not a Hurricane. Great running motor well at least our daughters is. Also it should be at least a 1950 if I remember correctly. That’s when the handle on top can out

    Funny how a shed can become a mess in short order. I had to put an addition on ours because the original was not large enough for all of our crap. Made nice storage shelves and implement hooks but my wife tended to just drop whatever she was using in no particular place. Throws my Feng Shui into total unbalance, but I love her.
