Being Cool, Staying Cool. Woody Boater Style.

Cool!

Have you opened the door yet? Its like opening an oven. Not kidding. YEEEIKES. Here its in the mid 90’s but the air is so thick its miserable. The funny part is its all what you are used to. The kids are here from New Orleans to cool off. HA. I suppose its all a matter of perspective.  But bottom line, whats better than a boat ride at a brisk speed to be cool and stay cool. Ya, you can sit inside and pretend the world is just fine, or get out there and roast ones self to a nice plump juicy…okay this is getting strange.

We can do this. Venturing out

Rumble rumble. Yes that sun was strong

Yesterday around 7 ish we decided it was safe to try a ride. It was still hot, but there was a slight breeze, and a little throttle made it actually quite pleasant. UNTIL

Where did all that wind come from. YIKEs.. Looks calm in the photo, but it was white caps and very choppy. No swells. Needless to say, things got cooler real fast.

The Boatress says she was not pleased. But? lets agree to disagree. She had a blast.

Everyone got a tad soaked. I swear Stinky at 16 feet is a dryer boat. How does that happen? Either way, we had fun. And cooled up and down all at the same time. Natures AC is a good splash.

Glad you had a good run. 90 and humid in Michigan too. I will probably stay in the A/C!

    It’s all perspective.

Our friends are up from Austin TX and they LOVE the cool Maine air even though it is going to hit the high 80’s – low 90’s today.

It’s a cool 80 degrees in da U P. However it is lightly raining. Enjoy the sunshine!
