I Took My Own Advice. No Really? I Got Out There. Did You?

Sit back and relax. The Captain has turned off the seatbelt sign.

Yesterday it was humid free and in the 80’s with a slight breeze. So guess what I did? Ya! Took John Rotherts advice. BOAT RIDE…SSSSSS Like all day in two different boats. And you know what, I may do the same today. Ya! I just might.. Like Ice Cream, you really cant ever get too much of a double scoop of sunset magic.

Bubbles anyone? Channeling my inner Lapkin

That pop of color!

The classic aft flag shot. I coulndt help it.

A little Kays spray light

This week I didn’t really take photos. I wanted to just enjoy the moment, without capturing the moment. But last night at around 8, it was insane, so I asked? Anyone want a quick sunset ride? And off we went. I love that light.

We need more young people

AHHHHHHHH! Just relaxing. I needed that ride

STAY TUNED THIS WEEK.. WE have reports from several shows, and a MOLLY-O update. Not to mention some other fun stuff. Right now I am starring at flat water, and AHHHHHHHHHHHH.

One day I am going to drop my phone in the drink!

Share your sunsets! Trust me we will need them in about two months.

ENJOY this short moment

We got out there! So did the wake board boats. The boat, the pup and us got wet from the big rolling waves. Still better than a winter day!

Well you sure know how to heart a guy, I now feel bad for intruding on your get away relaxing boating day yesterday by sending you all the emails, texts and photos. So go do it again today and I promise to let you ENJOY it.

Yesterday was a beauty here in northern KY, rainy here this morning. No photos & not in a woodie, but I did get out there. My 85yo dad & his wife came for a visit. They no longer own a boat & really enjoyed getting out out for a ride. With many boats out stirring up the water & the 12′ Aristocraft only a 2-seater anyway, we took the comfier 21′ Malibu. A ’99, bought new in Sept ’98, she’ll be a classic next fall.

Perfect weather in Indiana this weekend for the Lake James Boat Show. In our Coronado with grandson Jack during the pre-event cruise. Beautiful summer days are flying by for sure.

Nice socks! 😉 Got out for a bit on Friday, but in reality – at 95+ degrees and all the big wake boats out there, it wasn’t real comfortable. Waiting for the mid-week cool down and fewer checkbook boaters before I head back out…

So envious down here in the bottom corner of the planet. Freezing and it has rained for a month. Two southerly storms, and down here they’re the cold ones.

First “sea” trial for our woodie this morning. Back in the water after over 2 decades. No interior yet but fully functional (minis the horn). WHOOT, WHOOT!!!!!

Hanging out in Greenport for a few days and this 1953 tug pulled in after a 5 year restoration. Still more work to do. Original 1947 war surplus Detroit in her. Beautiful.

“Sea” trials – first time in the water in over 20 years for our Craigslist ’49 Century Resorter. Mostly work and a short ride but completely thrilled that it didn’t sink!!

Jeff’s brother, Art’s other nephew, Scott Armstrong, should have been credited with this photo.
