They’re Last Gasping On Lake Hopatcong. Happy ^%$*# Labor Day

,

Okay, they are eating hamburgers as well.

We got a report in from Bob Kays regarding water levels a couple weeks ago, and now the the water is so far down, they are having to pull some of the boats. I suppose labor Day marks the season end for a reason. But this is rather light switchy I say..

Tyler smiling all day

Out on Bob Rices U22

Bob, explaining that this boat has philips head screws, actuall to be specific Reed and Prince, and not regular flat screws, because after the war, as in the WW2 Which by the way is so old it was like us and the Civil War. Anyway.. Tyler got his nap time in..

The end

What a bummer. Let’s hope NJ gets a lot of rain and snow this winter. Happy Labor Day to all of WoodyBoaterville!

Also a bummer that I get an error message and can’t load a photo this morning??!!

Happy Labor Day. No boating today only labor. Old Tee Nee boat trailer is about to become undone. Luckily it is short ride from ramp to yard. Just have to get the trailer out from under!

Not surprising. It too is dry in Central, PA. The Susquehanna is at the water level where you can walk across the river, just watch out for the holes. Having well water level issues myself. Hope rain hits us all.

Happy Labor Day from Norfolk VA!

Greg I am having the same problem from my phone. I think it is because the pics are now “I Photo” and that is not one of the chosen options.

Troy, I was trying to load it from my IPad and have never had a problem before. It told me the file size was too large on the first try, so I tried a different photo that had worked before. Got the same error message.
I think Matt is messing with us!

Thankfully, we have another month and a half of boating, at least and my boat is still not in the water due to work. And my Harley had been off the road since November undergoing fuel tank change and new tail light/wiring install. Just gonna start buying lottery tickets, I’ve had enough of Labor Year.

Was on Hopatcong Friday. water is green, and dropping fast. Went to Lake Store for ice cream, docks are about even with gunnels on boat. Normally we’d step down on dock getting out. Supposed to get rain tonight. Good time to be selling propellers.

6/10’s if an inch last night and expecting 1.3 inches tonight. Keeping the faith with my boat still in the water albeit not on the lift

Meanwhile here in northern KY, we’ve had rain off & on the last 2 days, Did get a window to walk late this morning & most of the “part-timers” in the neighborhood were packing up to head home early, before this afternoon’s showers. We did have an absolutely beautiful Thursday & got the visiting grandson out for a boat ride.
