The WoodyBoater Secret Lair Of Repair

,

NOT HERE! We got all the boats out of the Railway to go to. THE SLOR – shhhhhhhh

Yesterday was the day, no gasp, just a quick drive to the ramp and get those suckers inside and winterized. But this year, we have something very special. Hidden away in plain site is a special secret place that Jimmy has with his buddy Keith just got. The Secret Lair Of Repair. An old boat repair shop all set up, and now part of the Woody Boater universe. But it’s a secret, so SHHHHHHH! In fact it’s so secret, if you go there you have to wear a bag over your head. And from the looks at some of you, you may already be used to that.. HEY!  You look in the mirror.. YA.. Rest my case. Anyway back to the Secret Lair Of Repair. It’s even got a HUGE lot thats fenced in so Mr B and Tara and Riley can just roll, play, sniff and play some more while we all…well, do the same thing. Getting the Secret Lair Of Repair all dolled up will be a fun adventure for sure. And then we all have to kill each other so no one knows about it. But thats later.

Come on Mr B, BOATRIDE!

Where are we going? Shhhh MR B, its a Secret

WAIT, this is a different way, you said TARA would be there.

Right on the edge of the ramp. A VERY low tide

POV from inside the bag. This part is secret. Shhhhh. And yes Even Mr B had a mask on.. He then ate it, It was an old McDonals bag..

BAM we are there. I will add, driving with a bag on your head needs to be rethought

OH! HELL YA!

OH HELL TO THE YA.

Riley is always ready to party, Mr B is just running around causing havoc

Oh boy! Mr BFF’s

Mr B and Tara having an absolute blast

Mr B outside with Tara can hold his own.

4 Garage Doors.

Jimmy

Backed in and ready to be Winterized – the Katzs Finish is insane

The V8ness was perfect all summer and screams. The blue stuff is Salt Away,

Oh ya! The Money shot

Tucked away after a good smoke, for some winter adjustments. The garage is heated and insulated. Compressors welding, all there. And we aint taking about where there is. Cause its THE SECRET LAIR OF REPAIR!

Damn, is there anything Jimmy doesn’t have? What a set up!
I’m surprised you use the pink antifreeze. I always stick with the blue stuff, even though it was tough to get this year.

Bare walls?… How long before they start getting “overflow artifacts” from the Railway? Will give you a great place to stage boats and stuff …and no excuse to NOT acquire a few more boats.. Plus,.. gives you a place to work on the messy jobs before they go on display. Jimmy is the friend we all wish we had!

I have always used the purple stuff because it has rust inhibitors in it. Makes a huge difference in the spring on the 1st start up. This is what I had to deal with yesterday and today (6ft of snow in about 24 hrs). Good thing I got all the boats put away😀

Nice looking hideaway for your ship mates.
Arts ‘barn” is also stuffed this winter season, 1 24 ft bowrider, 1 26 ft Pursuit, 1 22 ft CC utility, 1 67 Camaro, and 1 22ft Roadtrek RV and 1 12×12 gazebo. All kept at 50 degrees.

I’m a bit surprised you didn’t do closed cooling on “Wecatchem”, as you are running in salt water – but that’s just my practice. All my boats have it. Great resource for you guys! I know you’ll make the best of it. 🙂

Aristocraft & kayaks tucked into the basement garage for the winter. Silverado 2500 crew cab, ’99 21′ Malibu Sunsetter & 5 cars crammed into the 30×40 – a great thing about Minis, they’re space efficient!

      Kelly I LOVE those Aristocrafts!!!!!

Never really understood the green windshield, but what great boats. Is that a 13′?

Matt & Jimmy – Looks awesome!

        Troy,
This one’s a 12′ Typhoon model. They also sell the windshields in red, blue or clear, which seem to have been used more with painted boats. The green seems to be a tradition for the varnished ones.

Great looking shop! With a gantry too. I’d move in and live there but my wife has veto power on those decisions. I use the purple antifreeze as well even though my shop shouldn’t get below 48 degrees. I worry about the heater quitting or an extended power outage from storms and then the building would get below freezing. Cheap insurance against a cracked block.

That old gantry deal solved the mystery for me anyway.

    Nice addition to the portfolio.

John in Va…..went boating today….new batteries and etc.
