Lots of trash to dig through
I know this looks like its been the longest tease on the planet earth, but change does require changes before it can go live. With a site that has so many little things in its 15 year history, stuff keeps breaking and needs fixing. For example email notifications. Our data center was erased by Feedburner, because of a change. So we are trying to create a new one but Our sign in says we already exsist, but then nothing happens. YA, You all know the feeling, just from reading this. Each little step is an agrivating deep dive into a email ticket hell. Anyway, we are almost there. And you will know when its a new site. Sorry about all the delays. But hey, you do get what you pay for.. HA..ugh.. And happy header day, it will all change

Matt as usual you’re behind the curve….. yesterday would have been Garwood’s birthday born December 4th 1880.

Wow, Feedburner! That sounds pretty treacherous. Good luck and keep up the good work!

I spent three summers during college working off the back of a Gar Wood Load Packer, then I had an office for my company in Minneapolis in a building that turned out to be previously owned by Gar (AND where his grand nephew told me Gar once stored one of his Miss America boats), so I guess I was destined to be a Gar Wood boat owner… even if it’s the smallest, least expensive Gar every made.
Fingers crossed for a successful turnover to the new server.

Ain’t technology just grand? 😄
Now where the hell did I put my two cans and that piece of string……….

It’s wise during such a project to have plenty of inexpensive, throwable / breakable objects nearby. And to temporarily surrender your phone to a trusted colleague for safekeeping.
Hello.... Newman.
….All right. But hear me and hear me well. The day will come – oh yes, mark my words, Seinfeld, your day of reckoning is coming, when an evil wind will blow thru your little play world and wipe that smug smile off your face. And I’ll be there in all my glory, watching, watching as it all comes tumbling down!….
Matt, uh…..let’s hope your new bit does not share the same fate.
Can you email all of us when your make the transition?

I get what I pay for… Yep, I do. That’s why I stepped up some months ago and your PPal friend gives him $25 a month. Every month. Damn cheap entertainment I say!
Anybody else sent in a donation lately? He needs the money to buy more architectural stuff in New Orleans to drag back to the World Headquarters!
Thanks Matt, there’s a lot of readers out there that appreciate what you do!

Was this a Gar Wood load pecker?
