Oh hell ya!

We were all set for the big switch yesterday and at the last second our host realized that we needed to update to 8.0 php and that would effect some some stuff in the future so thats being done. I know you all are wondering what? Well, Woody Boater is a massive site. Terabytes large, and so when you redesign that, all the stuff has to be able to find a home on the new site. Like remodedling your home from the inside out, but gutting it and bringing back everything that was there. So. Ebay?

The small patch is perfection

Original Chain stiching

Well, remember that patch we got a while back? Now there is another one, on a jacket. Which is very very very cool, and maybe a little insanely priced. But thats all subjective I suppose. I paid far more for simular stuff. So? GO find another one?

Look for the union label. Okay maybe not a union label, but we all do remember that comercial. And hit it!

Oh here is one right on ebay!

WoodyBoater is “da Boss” website. All of WoodyBoaterville waits anxiously.

Dang! I don’t remember that add, but I was graduating high school in 1981 so adds were not my focus.

Off topic, not unusual for here, I received as a gift an oil on camvas painting of Pather. Done by my cousin in Australia. Not professional but valued since done by a relative.

Neat Jacket. I think that it must be a crew jacket rather than from a Chris Craft dealer. I am familiar with Buckeye Lake. My wife grew up not too far from there. Cool little Lake. They have a wooden boat show every year at the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club. I have been once I’m usually I”m up north that time of year. Jacket seems a little pricey to me. I don’t remember the Union commercial either. In 1981 I was single, and did not even own a TV.

Size 36??? Might fit a 10 year old cause we’re all big ass Americans- well, I guess the whole world is larger than 50 years ago. But this is going probably going to be mainly decorative? hanging on the wall? I might have been able to wear it when I started my senior year in HS at 105 lbs on the wrestling team. When I moved south in the land of biscuits and gravy breakfast, my work colleagues said I was so skinny that if I stubbed my toe, I’d twang like a banjo string.
