We have watched each other grow up.

As I was digging through headers yesterday morning, I found some more, and then more, and then more, so guess what. You get more, more and more headers. We also have some great news, the headers can and will be saved. Close to 3,000 of them. Which is absolutely insane since I used to purge many for server space.

There might just be a coffee table book in there somewhere… nice shots!

Matt, you prove again that you are the king of headers!

I still wonder how Jimmy got that much air under that Donzi on flat water?

  3. John Rothert

Got up early, loved em all….great memories and you spared us all the one of me with my umbrella and back to the camera that you dig up at my expense!
    Cool.

Been looking through my collection of headers and this could go on for a while.

    Great memories!!!!

This one could have been titled “Two of a Kind”.

Matt I LOVE all the headers…………….U do good stufff .

INDOOR BOATING header…………..The Eric Frazier shot (on port side) is actually a indoor shot of my boat house front wall that he did during a photo shoot many years ago.

Matt, you must have listened to me yesterday, when I said keep em comin. Great. Header shots. They transform you into another place.

Here is an interesting discovery from going thru the header shots that I have in my library.

In 2013 when this story originally ran I had never heard of the AGLCA so the burgee on this Carver meant nothing to me.

Today an am an active AGLCA Lifetime member who is “In Progress” doing the loop.

Yesterday after getting my WB fix I said to myself, Self, I said “This is a great moneymaker for WB. Get the images to Shutterfly (or somewhere) and let people pick 40 (or something) and make their own coffee table book with the images they want.”

I’m still waiting for myself to respond…..

But I know I would 1) love to look at the images in one place and 2) create a book for myself and for gifts. 3) probably make 2 or three books because there are so many themes

Keep up the good work, Matt!!

Lots of great images, but the one in front of the store on Lke. Hopatcong would make a great enlarged wall hanger.

Hey – I just noticed the current header had a picture of Jeffrey Breen’s magnificent boat “Apprenticeship” which was taken at Bay Harbor, MI several years ago. This reminds me that a big ACBS boat show is coming to this beautiful location next September!

……………….”read the last page of a book first.” Some do, some don’t. I elected to look at MS’s LAST header post (of today’s WB online posting) instead of the first…”comprehendible, comprehensible.” “Deep”….as in “fathom-able!” Mr. Smith, Algonac, and the eldest (known) prodigy.

My tip of the hat. Gracias, SL.
