What a cool boat, looks like a stall tactic to market to returning service folks and people to wait until this is made thing. The molded plywood hull design is very cool as well, and I wonder if this is a similar method used on Whirlwinds and other smaller boats? Those have held up extremely well, if taken care of. A Ouija board tray? Like opening up the portal to the other side while on the boat would be helpful.
I owned one of these for a while. When I began restoration I quickly realized that the two layers of plywood that made up the hull had totally delaminated. I considered a few options of how to proceed but finally gave up and gave the boat away. Very cool design though.
Thunderstorms: yes. Boating: no.
