2022 – T Shirts For Dora! We Need Your Vote. And A Joke!

The new Woody Boater Tag line

It’s that time of year again with only a couple months away from Lake Dora. T shirts! I do have some left over stock from the last Dora canceled events, and some Reedville Show shirts. They will be on sale along with maybe some new stuff.  So here goes. These are rough ideas and planning on doing a couple of these, maybe more if folks love them.

Global T

Coffee Varnish T, maybe a package deal with a cup.

Black, grey and white T’s?

Coffee cup?

Cruiser T – My Woody May Be Slow, But it is large?

Some bad Woody Joke goes here?

SAMPLE, Need a fun woody joke that isnt so obvious.

My Woody Is Bigger Than Yours?

My Woody Needs Alot Of Rubbing?

My Woody Looks Better With Varnish

OLD WOODY’S RULE

Happy for the optimism that Sunnyland is on track to happen! I will remain positive. Just made reservations, signed up for the show and signed up for the North Cruise. Positive vibes only please. John R. Sorry but I am not “going boating” today.

Love the global headquarters tee! Hope those will be available thru the website, as I doubt we’ll get to Dora this year.

And love the new “past lane” tagline! But as Rick said, not in white.

I’m so tired of the “woody” double entendre. It’s not even witty, it’s just kind of stupid.

I am not a fan of any bright colors or black. The trend is more towards faded colors, which goes nicely with the theme. Jokes on shirts need to be either really PG or really subtle so I can wear them in front of the grandkids when I get some.

    m-fine says:

Life in the Past Lane in faded colors gets my vote.

I also like the global HQ shirt, but maybe reserve that design for those who show up to future events at the HQ.

      Kentucky Wonder says:

Exactly. Keep the HQ shirts, mugs, etc. for people who actually have been on site.

Also agree that the “Woody” jokes are just juvenile, when clever is what we expect from Matt and WoodyBoater.

I vote for life in the past lane except on yellow or bright green. Another one is, my woody requires a lot of rubbing, on Johnson green. That’s my two cents worth.

I like the Cruiser version….and no Gary, alas not Going Boating today…just hoping to survive this oncoming storm. Ole Va is ill equipped to handle stuff that Troy and M-fine laugh at…oh well.

Since you asked, my preference is for light colors with lots of spots on the front to hide the stains my shirts have from spilling food while drinking and eating. I really do not like shirts with large areas of printing, especially on dark colored shirts. They turn hot and sticky during the heat and humidity of the summer.

I was going to name my runabout “Snapper” until my grown kids found out and clarified what it means. I would not be interested in anymore “woody” jokes.

Life in the Past Lane – Not white!

Love my current Speedboat Outlaw shirt so I would take another in a new design.

    Love the cruiser shirt!

I wanted to get my buddy to make me some (maybe with Chris-Craft or Formula) of these, but Sandi said “NO WAY!!”.

I like “Life in the Past Lane”, in green, and in yellow, too. Don’t know why, but for me, white tee’s seem to attract contaminants.

I will be wearing one matt as I will finally get to do the announcing and music at lake Dora. I have been waiting through covid .

    ART says:

I vote for “ART’S MOLLY-O IS ART” on a red T with a matching coffee mug. P.S. I would wave (pun intended) copy right issues.

If that doesn’t float your boat, I vote for “Life in the Past Lane”.

    Mark says:

Whatever you decide consider a dry fit version.

I wet launch sometimes and would not win any wet t shirt contests. Probably last longer too.

    Lighter colors are better.

I’m not a fan of the woody jokes either… I do like the headquarters shirt and in most cases, just a cool image on the back and Woody Boater on/across the front makes a great T-shirt. 🙂

    100% cotton please
Life in the Past Lane ~yes
RMR headquarters save for in person event there
    Varnish T ~TOO YELLOW
Speedboats outlaws ~ to ho-hum~ don’t like black, too hot.
DUPLEX T & coffee cup ~ YES ~Can we get a plastic cup that doesn’t break when I drop it? Great color
Skip the woody shirts, I don’t like to brag…
No black & white, use faded = blues, greys, greens
How about “Life in the past, go fast”

    Whew, I’m exhausted…

I vote for speedboat outlaw. I also like the Reedville Railway. Duplex coffee cup would be cool too.

Boating at 7500 ft with 90-100 degree temp in Wyoming and no shade, I won’t buy it unless it’s white. Anybody want to buy a black XL Son’s of Varnish T-shirt. I won’t wear it boating.

I really like that , Life in the past Lane, But wood like to see a Brown Colored Boat if Possible , just sayin !!
