A New Feature For Woody Boater. What’s in Your Drawers?

A very Rare 1958 Century Brochure
Today we have decided to start a new regular feature called “What’s In Your Drawers” Thanks to our first Drawer puller Seth Katz for sharing some of his goodies that are tucked away around Katz’s Marina. You know the kinda stuff we are talking about. You see it and think, oh that’s cool, and then put it away in a drawer and forget that you even have it. Today, we do have a bit of a theme though, since we are seeing a bunch of cool Century and Chris Craft Brochures. Blue Arabian and 1948 for WECATCHEM stuff.

Phil will love this one. Two of his boats are on here

Blue Arabian goodness. UPDATE SOON!

Let us know if you like this new regular feature and let us know what you have in your drawers.
With a lead in like “What’s in Your Drawers?” I don’t even dare to comment.
Step away from the computer Troy, just step back.
Love it! I may not have a lot of real boats, but I got paperwork! Cant wait to show you my drawers!
if you have a lot of fun stuff you can send them to us for a next feature. Email is in the ABOUT section
Something like this really should have been the header… jcrew no less!
Wow Andy, cool Drawers
I was going to drop my drawers and take pictures of my junk for you, but my wife talked me out of it.
Your wife is smart.. She did marry you though. So? Just sayn
Actually she said you would need a zoom lense on your camera. And you said yea you’re right. Forget it.
Rough crowd!
She probably knows your under powered.
I have always loved the Century 1958 illustrated color brochure…Maybe because I own a 1958 Raven!
How about some original 1941 advertising. The big sedan is near and dear to my heart!
At my age – unfortunately – there’s not much in my drawers anymore. I do have some old catalogs on my shelves, however, and today’s post might prompt me to look at them again.
I do have that header shot brochure in my collection. Neato!
Is there a way to make the images clickable so they can be enlarged to read? Pretty neat images.
Thanks!
if you right click on your mouse it says view image and they blow up. Sorry, for some reason it does this now on my stories, Texxs still do that. Texx’s stories is so perfect.. Damm him!
Stern pole globe that looked like new.
I’ve got old Johnson parts catalogs in my drawers
From the red tags to dealership I gained more knowledge than before about the break-in and storage than I knew before. I wonder if anyone else really read it.
I have loads of Thompson Boat stuff in my drawers….and I just turned my head and could see the old factory here in Peshtigo, WI
Great feature. Please disregards any stains you may see in my photo. It was probably something on my camera lense.
Thank you Floyd for removing them first.
If the idea here is to submit pics of things we forgot we had how will we know we have them? I’m so confused.
Dang, Karen & I just cleaned our drawers of old Chris-Craft stuff and shipped it to the CCABC Archive in Dallas. Had I known, there were some cool pre-war Chris-Craft brochures in the boxes that would have been perfect for your theme. The only things left in the drawers now are old stained drawers that no one is interested in (except floyd r turbo).
1968 Resorter FG. Folder in my drawer at work. M&M
68 Resorter. More in my drawer. M&M
If it’s from Katz’s it must be perfect as no one else ever gets a chance on this Web blog.
David,
Take your negative energy elsewhere.
Just speaking the truth.
What a great post today. I love the 50’s Century brochures. The illustrations remind me of the paintings on aircraft kit sets when I was a kid.
From my 1951 Texaco Boat Safety Manual
Many century items including everything on this page except for the 2 1949 price lists. I have 1949 price list but mine is dated December 1 1948. Also many Chris Craft including a 1930 original 8 page pull out from a magazine… see cover below. I have never seen another for sale… And 2 model brochures from Century Boat Co 1928… The oldest literature I know of for Century…
Wow! Great stuff in all of your drawers. Thanks for sharing…
