Yesterday after a deck-a-thon, thats finishing one and starting another. I received a true shot in the arm of Woodyboaterness. A hugely thanks to longtime fellow Woody Boater Gary Michael from Inland Boat Works. His donation to the war effort here, in the form of a Can Of Old Paint. I am so tempted to open it and just snort the Titanium and other toxic chemicals that somehow all blend together to make this perfect shade of green. GAR WOOD green.
I love love love this stuff. And Gary’s design stuff is like another mothers brother to me with the way he does things. The joy such a small gesture can bring is so strange. There is a story in this little can someplace about whatever brain chemical is released when you find and acquire stuff. Really, its all the same thing regardless of a can of paint or finding a 25 Sportsman in a barn. Same high. Ahhhh yes, Dopamine! My friend. The secret chemical found in Varnish and old paint cans.
