Adding The Pizazz On Stinky

Free handing
Here we go, the fun part. Putting it all back together and sorting out the small stuff. Like buffing stainless parts, and stripping the dash, wheel color etc.

Drawing the name on with a white grease pencil.

Tape and eye ballness doing the letters

Stinky done, one coat

One coat

Two sides

In just a small amount of paint

Old school hand done

Not impressed, wants to go home and have some suppa!

Boot stripe after suppa!

Huge difference

Putting the trim on, next morning

Painting the steering wheel

Dash stripped and two coats,

The panels are in and the wheel in place. The large hole on the right is for the clum switch and the one on the left is where a fuel gauge was. I patched up all the other holes, and will be putting a period correct speedo over the other hole since the patch work is somewhat visible.

A different boat

STAY TUNED for some Clum Switch fun.
Matt, I love your old school lettering ability. I can do all the rest, but wish I had that kind of artistic talent. Stinky is looking great!
He definitely has a gift when it comes to anything that requires an artistic eye!
Wow, Stinky is looking fabulous!
Looking amazing bud.
Nice!!!
Great work in a perfect environment for doing it. Keep at it.

Maybe you will clean my home for me? Even a light pressure wash? or TSP and a brush?
All that new paint is making my world brighter and more colorful! And please check my float switch, thanks!

Looking good ! Keep up the good work. As I said yesterday. You are headed for Tahoe.
Got a little of my lap top in that one.
❤️
I like stories like this. You get to see the progress of a project…plus you can play, “Where is Mr B?” With the photos!
Who’s the bald guy down below the paint brush? : > ) Stinky looks great!
It looks like that “learn to draw” correspondence course in the back of Popular Science has really paid off 😊. We all wish we had that kind of talent. Looks so different with that red wheel. Got to get use to that.
I learned to draw DINKY!
OK, but the BIG question is, after all the work you have done on that boat, does Stinky still stink?
Really enjoy the journey with this boat less the lettering
Man that’s looking good Matt. Lux finish on the blue and white from what I can see. Nice lettering too. Do you reckon you’ll be able to leave it alone now? Just add a little this and that, one of these and two of those, here and there, next thing you’ve got a Philippine Taxi
