Another Fun Day At Jimmy’s Doing The Bilge And more.

Taking off the cover! Yikes thats some dust!
Yesterday was spent doing the same thing you might be doing. Getting ready for Lake Dora. The “Trusty ” is ready and so is WECATCEM. We were able to clean the bilge, which was already kinda clean since she has a new 5200 bottom, but we wanted to correct the color and while the engine is out, enabled us to get in all the nooks and crannys. Mmmmm like butta on a English Muffen.

The dirty bilge, wrong color. This is the color from Sandesky paint. Its too dark.

Yes my back hurts

Ta Da!
We also were able to clean up and detail the trailer and finish the lettering. The plan is to put the engine in at Katzs on Friday, and head down back to DC after a water test on Lake Hopatcong. Woohooo! just one more week until we fun test her!

Orio loves Jimmys barn

Jimmys big workshop.

From the other view

From the side

We even tried out the new EEz – Inn ladder from Freedom Boat Service.
Yup we were doing the same thing. All loaded and leaving in about 2 hours.
Would love to stop for a visit, but we are taking the DELMARVA, see you at Dora!
Safe travels to you Troy!
Might want to correct that illegal exhaust while you are in there.
Not sure what your talking about?
Maybe he is referring to no double clamps on the exhaust????
In awe of Jimmy’s barn! What size is it?
This is what I was planning on bringing but pinstriper and screws and misc says no , so George Jetson is taking the family to Fla c u Bill
So what bilge paint did you use?
bilge paint: check out portcitypaints.com
or google it.
they have nice mahogany brown or tile red to choose from
The slogan on the trailer is fantastic, Matt. Details matter! That’s also why I’m also now a proud owner of an EEz-Inn ladder.
I love those ladders, but in a runabout, won’t the hooks wreck the 1/2 round upholstery?
My Amphicar pulling My 1959 Playmaster. Much to do before this wonderful show.
Well Papa Bear and Cubbies are on the water and heading for Tavares, we sure hope to see you all there in 11 days.
