Burlington Preview Via Kent O. Smith Jr. The Storm Before The Calm.

A shout out to Kent O Smith and the internet for getting us some very moody images from Burlington Vermont at the pre events at the Big International. We are also working on some pre events at the Big Global at HQ. For example, I took 6 cans of trash to the dump yesterday. YA. Anyway, here is Kent’s very cool, brisky report.

The local Tuesday event was a cruise to Essex NY from Burlington VT, but Mother Nature wasn’t very cooperative.
At one point there were three footers in the center of the lake.

But a number of brave folks came out, despite the weather and the possibility of running into Champ, the Lake Champlain sea monster. Amazing what boat people will do for a lunch!

Lunch was a BBQ at the Old Dock in Essex right next to the ferry dock. I have to say the Bloodies there were very good!
After lunch was a brief walking tour of the historical sites in Essex, but as a boater, you probably don’t really want to see shots of that.

Interesting looking Shepherd in that third shot. I wanted to make Burlington this year too, but didn’t happen. Didn’t even make Lke. George this year. First time since 2014, I think.
