Coolish Or Foolish?
I noticed this cool storage thing on ebay the other day. I am sure some of you noticed it as well. And at first glance, I thought. mmm thats cool. And the more I looked, oh! Hey thats really cool, and then I let it sit there for a bit, and then cooled off. And then thought. What in the hell. For 500 bucks, its dumb. And then noticed that its not a large storage thing, but kinda small. And then I moved on to other items. YET, it still is knawing at my heart strings. SO? It’s rainy And we are all putting our summer fun away. So we get stories like this.
You can look at the listing HERE on ebay and decide for yourself.
It’s gonna be a long winter!
75 and sunny in Michigan this weekend. Let’s go boating!
You draw me in with Mr B! I don’t know how I feel about that. Your item definitely has a cool factor, but if I ever bought something like that for over $500.00 plus shipping, I would no longer be living in my house…most likely under a boat cover!
Pretty clever but not $500.00 clever.
I saw this in an old popular mechanics magazine from the 50s. It’s a cool way to recycle old cans. The pics look like they’re 1 gallon cans. I agree $550 is a little steep.
Someone spent a lot of time cutting and crimping the sharp edges on those cans. Agree not worth $500 but still unique.
No longer available so looks like someone bought it. Matt???
Do you think he would acknowledge a purchase, after the comments made about the price! Oh, I hope he did buy it!
Sold!!!!
Hhmmmmm……Matt?!?!??
Kinda has a Louise Nevelson thing going on…
The side of the can says 3 quarts, 13 oz. The shelf is a piece of c—-p, but if the Petit cans weren’t butchered they’d be more interesting.
This was intended to illustrate their “Woodworking Skills” so a customer would know what degree of workmanship to expect on his boat…..
Those cans are slightly under one gallon, so it says.
Not me!
