Darrell Bush Classic Boat Artist And Great Guy!

We all want to live here. I don’t want the mortgage payments though.. So a painting is perfect.
If you haven’t been to Darrell’s Website lately there is some new cool stuff. I personally have a Darrel Bush print in the Woody Boater HQ and it looks fantastic. The web captures some of the magic, but in person they really pop on the wall. i would add that an original would be insane since all that texture and craft would be there.

Darrell sketch’s are even art
Darrel adding water magic.

The finished art. Your print or original wont have the water mark on it.
The good news is that Darrel will do such a thing for you. So if you have a boat that you just gotta capture so you can look at it all the time, Darrel is your man, he can even make you copies of it so you can look at it in your bedroom, Bathroom, even the kitchen. Now of course your spouse may have something to say about this. But if you are that obsessed with your boat, you’re alone anyway. Well not anymore, cause you and your BFF, Boat Friend Forever will be happy now in every room in your house…. wait, she left you with nothing. All you have is a one bedroom apartment and TV.. so just get two then.

OK, Darrell is the human in the center, he is real, so is the easel, and skull. The Riva is an Original about to be sent to the customer, and the others are? prints?
I finally got to meet Darrell last year at Gull Lake, and he is a great guy and unlike most Artists, can actually carry on a conversation that does include the use of textured brush strokes that evoke the emotion of the zzzzzzzzz. Come on its not like its a Zipper or Fender cleat.. Right? Right? OK maybe one is just a Fender cleat and one is fine art.. Maybe…
Bob and I also met Darrell at Gull Lake and left a few Benjamin’s with him. Wonderful fella.
I saw a painting of a boat on WoodyBoater of a late 20’s Chris-Craft 26 foot runabout that resembled a boat that I had restored but not close enough to call it “my” boat. So I contacted Darrell and asked if he could make some changes (major changes in fact) to his painting to look like my boat. The answer was yes! So after sending him some of the changes necessary to make it look like my boat, and then some added changes as he got into it, he adapted a previous painting of his to look so much like my boat that none of my family members could tell it really wasn’t my boat!!! Being an artist myself (maybe!), I really appreciate the skills that Darrell has and admire his fantastic art work. I’m so glad to know he’s a “regular” guy too!! I would definitely consider having Darrell do a painting of your boat!
I have three prints in the house that I have had for many years. His work is outstanding.
I love the view of the house on the edge of the lake it is a beautiful image. But living in Alabama my first thought after that is OMG that house would be full of Water Moccasins in a week.
Love your daily post keep up the good work!
