Found Art I Need To Find. John Barber Print.
I had seen this work of art one day at George’s house, and have been looking for it since getting the Railway. It’s a very limited print and a very early one from well known Maritime Artist John Barber. His stuff is everywhere around the bay and the world for that matter. He captures the boating scenes wonderfully.
But now owning the Railway it would be of course fantastic to have one of the prints, or mind blower here, the original for the wall in the “office” which is the building featured in the wonderful Watercolor.
If you like John Barber prints, you can visit his website HERE.
Beautiful works of art. I hope you find the one of the railway.
Hope you find one! Beautiful paintings.
This was one of my old ‘stomping ground’ stops when I was working in D.C., bought several nice pieces of art from them which I still have:

“The Annapolis Marine Art Gallery is your source for rare John Barber prints. We maintain a large inventory and can locate on the secondary market the print you desire. This page displays a full-collection of sold-out prints, We can supply virtually any rare print. To inquire, call us on 410-263-4100.”
Their page shows your boatyard print — if you haven’t already, call them and get on their ‘locating’ list. One definitely needs to be displayed in the office.
Yup, tried them a while back, he said he would look in the whearhouse. Its an early print for sure.
I have a signed piece of the butler railway. 109 of 500 I was researching what it might be worth. Do you know of a website that provides that information?
