Gents Barn, Timeless Coolness.
By popular demand, we are continuing Young Gun week into this week. We have had a great response to this new feature, and plenty to go. Today we travel to Germany. Yup, just North of Berlin. East of Poland and a tad south of Denmark.
Meet Gents Barn, a different type of business. Sales, and marketing, and brokering. It’s a life style brand, and once again. Art first. Global and clearly shows how the internet has changed our little community worldwide. One thing is for sure, next time I am in Berlin, once this Covid crap is over, I am headed to Gents barn. In my Tweed coat and dapper hat.

You may remember them form the Big Lake Tahoe show.. We LOST a month ago. Not bitter, nope, not one bit. Okay a bit. Okay.. I WAS ROBBED! .. Breath in, breath out.. Okay..okay… Anyway, I Love this combo.
YOU CAN VISIT GENTS BARN IN GERMANY RIGHT HERE, NO TRAVEL, NO COVID, NO KAREN’S, Just Gents
I LOVE the fact that they are still willing to be a little politically incorrect with a name like Gents Barn and the use of beautiful women tastefully modeling their product.
A little off subject, but still one of my favorite headers.
That day was one of the best experiences, that all came together at a car show, were the models loved our three classics so much they spent two hours with us in an impromptu photoshoot!
Thanks go out toLarry Moore the photographer.
If you go, take a compass or you’ll end up in Poland
Matt, an interesting tidbit…the runabout featured is amazingly like my Argentine boat that you so appreciate. The styling, hardware, and such of the construction detail as is evident, point right to it.
The biggest visual difference is just in the fins….otherwise..spot on. Maybe that is an import to Germany….while to be certain many Germans have Argentine connections. ??

I thought the same exact thing and makes perfect sense
I just looked up Fritz Tar boats and they did make some without the fins. WOW, did we just figure out what your boat is?
There is NUTH’n on Fritz Tarz. NUTHEN! We need to go to Germany. NOW.. mach schnell
Since you are including young guns from around from around the world, shouldn’t Jeffery Breen be included from Canada?
I am open to anyone. I asked at the start of the week to send in links.
Ganz huebsch! I wonder if they intended the pun when they named it the “gents” barn?
Why is Jimmy driving the Dodge?
Hi everyone – greetings from good ol’ Germany! @Matt: THANKS once again, you’re the greatest, well Muhammad Ali was, but your close! Greatest in our boating community for sure! @John: Maybe you can send me an image of your boat and I can help you locate some facts, if you think there are some German ties to it? Happy to help! @Reddog: This image is taken from the BaT Auction of our Dodge, where we just recently bought it from. Who ever Jimmy is – give my kind regards and I think he did a GREAT smashing run with (what is now) our Miss Tessa. 🙂 @ Jeffrey: Dankeschoen! 🙂 We also started a brand called “Ladies Cottage” three years ago, still working on developing that one… 😉 Anyway – our brand name really works in Germany and Scandinavia, being our core markets, so we are happy. @ All of you: Whenever you plan to visit Europe, let us know – a cold German beer is waiting for you! 🙂
Oh, nearly forgot: @ Troy: THANKS SO MUCH! We totally agree here! 🙂
OH GOD do not encourage Troy! And here is the story on Johns boat https://www.woodyboater.com/blog/2010/12/03/watch-out-for-the-mahogany-fish-in-argentina/
I think we traced the origin of that Argentine boat to a boat company down there named Cannell and Perez…?

Tidbit: we do know that the guy the bought the boat in Argentina and had it shipped to Va…saw the boat being used on an alpine lake down there to make a GERMAN BEER COMMERCIAL….with some ladies in the pix that Troy would post.

LoL – John, love the idea with the German beer commercial…could help in the Corona crisis, too… And what a fine boat, this Argentinian…but by far larger than the typical East-German boat (13-14ft), nice idea though…have a good one everyone, having my last round of beer now and going to bed, close to midnight here!
