GET OUT! GO! GO ON NOW!
This is it! The weekend for many! The leaves are ready, your camera better be charged up. And you will need to muster all the summer you have left in you to get out there and enjoy this weekend. Sadly it’s starting to be that time of year. That time when the leaves turn and the water and air are crisp. That time when for around two hours a day, the weather is perfect and then becomes too cold and bitter to enjoy.
Get out your blankets, hot drinks and hats. We need fall photos. The world needs fall photos. And trust me here. I am in infuencer now so I know.. Trust me, you will regret not that one more day out there in about a month. And ooooffff! Imagine how you will feel around February?
It’s a beautiful day here in northern lower Michigan but alas all the boats are out and winterized. Also the docks and lifts are out so the lake ice doesn’t distroy them this winter.
Only 7 months tell launch again (sh-t) 😣!
It IS Faribault Blanket time. We’ve already had snow in Minnesota/Sconnie. I’m afraid my last gasp has passed.
Oct 2011…hey kids, ya wanna go tubing one last time, it’s gonna be cold?
Oct 2019….hey dudes, ya wanna go tubing one last time, I have to put the boat to bed?
Answer: uh……um……er…..naw, we’re good.
