I seem to be short on green. I fed all the green stuff to the pigs so they could turn it in to bacon. Does that make bacon Irish?
And from left field.

Happy St. Patrick’s day everyone 🍀
Was that shot thru a screen, or just a bad picture with a good subject?
Hey Matt!
I can’t believe you posted a picture of the Green Chris Craft Interior from Lake Tahoe. It has a watermark of Steve Lapkin, so perhaps it is Steve’s boat. I took pictures of that boat at the Clayton Boat Show perhaps 25 years ago because I thought it was the most beautiful boat I had ever seen. I loved that green and I am using that shade to paint my 1955 23′ HackerCraft Special Ride Boat. This boat was part of a Speedboat Ride operation at the Walled Lake Amusement Park, outside of Detroit. It is unique because it has two cockpits up front and a utility style in the rear, so it can accomodate 12 passengers. Tom Flood remembers the boat because he delivered the boat in 1955 with Mickey McCready, straight from the HackerCraft factory. I am hoping to complete the restoration this summer and launch it once again for a ride around Walled Lake.

Actually al schinnerer’s miss arrowhead. I was going to post a more complete shot that includes the green boot stripe too. Trouble with my computer prevents that. A fabulous 27’ 1940 cc triple. It was for sale a while back so not sure who might own it now. Deck had 2 spotlights, 2 horns, a siren along with Bugatti style windshield. No room for anything else!
Also dash and some other interior trim items are birds eye maple. Nothing like it.
No I take it back. On closer inspection not al’s.
Boat in question is called Jus’ Restin’ Up. Owned by Scott Fife. 1940 25’ Sportsman. Lives at Obexer’s on Tahoe
there is a great picture of al’s boat on the cover of the current brass bell, vol. 47, no. 1, 2021.

Dang it! Dick Dow and I did our best to celebrate St Pat’s day this evening and though the didn’t have any green beer, we drank our share of Mac and Jacks African Amber.
Hope you all had a good day!
