Hacker Boat Company Workshop Images
Thanks to fellow Woody Boater Kent O. Smith we have some very cool images of the Hacker Boat Companies Workshop. It’s like going back in time… with a digital camera and sending them to a web site. And then they are published by some guy in D.C. cracking jokes and doing dumb stories on classic boat toilet seats on eBay.. If you could go back in time.. What is cool though about these images. is that life in a wood boat shop has not changed all that much. Oh sure we have fancy pants new tools, and epoxies. but when you look here. These could have been taken 60 years ago… Very cool Kent.. Thanks.

Nice planer

Nice EVERYTHING……especially the planer….
Just when you crack open a beer and walk out to your work shop and tell yourself, “wow, I really have a cool workshop.” Then you see pictures like this. Makes my band saw look like I bought it from Harbor Freight or something……wait I did buy my band saw from Harbor Freight. Thanks Matt for making me feel not worthy….
What’s the big deal? If you made it 1/10th the size, lowered the ceiling and removed the good tools and the high-dollar boats, it would look just like my shop…so I’m not impressed.
