    Remembering my dad, a Korean War Veteran, this fourth. He loved the wood boats, his first a Century Palomino. It was also my first experience behind the wheel of a mahogany boat as a young boy. Would like nothing more than to take another ride with him on calm waters today. Safe and enjoyable boating to all this memorable day.

    Happy Independence day to all. Today we honor our veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice…..our freedom was not free. Cynthia’s father earned The Purple Heart and this morning at the breakfast table I explained to our ten-year-old how her grandfather is a hero. God bless America.

    We had a great 4th with perfect weather.

    Her 10 month little brother “Coop” took the helm for the first time. I had to pry his hands off the wheel.
