The ladies like flags

One of the great details of classic boating, is how flags make the look complete. Somehow on a pontoon boat or center console they look strange. But on a classic boat, the flag pole and look are seriously considered in the initial design. So you know what to do today! Show us your flags.

    Commissioning Pennent from when my father commanded the USS Constellation CV-64 , a Navy Aircraft Carrier named as “America’s Flagship” by Ronald Reagan.
    These were flown at the masthead of all warships . I also have his two star flag but it’s too large to fly on a “boat”.

    Please remember, the US Yacht Ensign is only valid in US waters. The US flag is required in international and foreign waters, eg, Thousand Islands, Puget Sound, Passamaquoddy Bay, Bahamas, etc. The confederate flag is never appropriate. The Italian flags on Riva’s are great, as long as the boats are registered on Lake Como
