It’s Monday, I Feel Like A Tick, And Relaxing. How About A Can Of Paint.

The other day we talked about Chris Craft Blue, and boom, today on ebay we have an old rattle can of blue Spray paint. Of course who knows if the paint is any good, but the paper wrap is kinda nice, so there is that for the shef of old stuff you have in your man cave/barn/garage/Railway.

If you want the can. HERE IT IS ON EBAY!

When you get done with the backyard project? Maybe hit the WWII museum and cover the Higgins PT boat resto if you can. I assume it’s there. On my bucket list along with U505 in Chicago Science annd Industry Museum and a ride on a Liberty ship in Cali with steam power (I think)? Not sure if that last one is still available and I’ll live that long.

That would be the S S Jeremiah O’Brien in SF. Yes, the original steam engine.

It has amazing stories! My dad was on a Liberty Ship in WW2, they were building them every eleven days. Looking at their latest fund raising request, I am here to encourage all of you to sign up to receive a mailing once in a while, and send them money! They get underway twice a year, and you can charter the ship. Boat ride! Let’s all the WB folks pool our $ and go for a boat ride!

That would be S S Jeremiah O’Brien in San Francisco, the last operational Liberty Ship in the world. Yes, it has the original steam engine in it! It goes out on Memorial Day, and for Fleet week, or you can charter it. Asking all of you to donate $$$ to them, they are non-profit, and 150 volunteers have contributed over 200,000 hours to keep her steaming!
