Kodachrome And Woody Boats.

Serpentine switchback roads carry travelers through Switzerland’s rocky Reuss Valley Switzerland, 1965 – Walter Meayers Edwards

There is a great show called Kodachrome Culture: The American Tourist In Europe…. at the National Geographic Museum here in Washington DC. It’s like looking through all your family vacation slides… only shot by a real photographer, not your kid sisters new Instamatic. What sort of Woody Boat is that?

Indeed! And, for a Type II pickup to carry it — up a mountain, no less! — that "boat" has got to be filled with Helium!
