Fun On The Lake!
One of the coolest parts of the Lake Dora Show for us here at Woody Boater is watching the YNOT Yacht gang out on the water ripping through the wakes and running all the winter blues away! This year they ramped it up by bringing an amazing Silver Arrow.

A huge thanks to the YNOT Yacht folks for sending in these amazing photos!
Great pictures! So great to see friends, boat show participants and the YNOT family. Everyone’s willingness to share their talents and craft make this an incredible show to visit. I was lucky to be able to slide into the drivers seat of the incredible Silver Arrow and put her through her paces!
Now it’s back to a dreary week in NW Iowa! Warmer sunny weather can’t come soon enough!
The YNOT gang have joined us for several Michigan chapter shows and are great people with some fantastic boats. I hope they can join the fun in Algonac again with us this June. We would love to see that Silver Arrow in the flesh!
YNOT always come first class.
The ride in that XK22 was AWESOME!
That Silver Arrow was really special. From what I could tell, no detail was overlooked in her restoration….And they found her in Miami. Who would think you could find a boat like that among the swamps and alligators of So. Florida ?
A HUGE (YUGE?) thanks to the YNOT guys for Welcoming me aboard the Silver Arrow. I have heard a lot of negative things about the boat, and there are certainly some negatives lurking beneath the exterior beauty, but all in all I thought it handled the water pretty well. It may not be as versitile as a big utility, but neither are many of the boats we love, and it did make a lot of people smile, so seems like mission accomplished to me.
The type of boats on the lake and in the pictures just goes to show that the sunnyland boat show is not just for wooden boats. Its too bad I wasn’t able to go to the show. The warm weather would have felt pretty nice. Does anyone have any information on the launch in today’s header.
It was custom built by Peter Breen of Canada. He had it on the river trip.
It was Dolly Durkin Jr which can be viewed at breenboats dot com new boats.
It’s always a pleasure to see the LaDonnes at an event. Great people, beautiful boats, and superb pictures to capture the excitement.
Cover Photo is Dolly Durkin II; one of the most recognized boat builders in the world built her; Peter Breen of Breen Boats of Rockwood Ontario who is the leading restorer of Ditchburn and other exquisite Muskoka Boats. Painstaking built she has won so many awards all over North America.
Baconfestchicago Com is going on and he is no where to be found.
